What a great way to come together for a good cause!
It’s that time of year when giving isn’t just about feeling good—it’s about making a real difference for those in need in our community.

Join us for a food distribution event on the 21st!
We have two shift options available:

• 4:30–7:30 PM 
• 7:00 - 10:00 PM

We’re hoping to have at least 5 Rotarians per shift, so we’d love to see you there! Feel free to bring a family member—just note that participants must be at least 16 years old for this event.

More details will follow, but here’s a quick overview of what to expect:

Join us for one of Hampton Roads’ most cherished traditions, the 29th Annual FM99 and 106.9 The Fox Mayflower Marathon. This around the clock food drive and fundraiser, which has become a cornerstone of holiday giving in our community, kicks off on Friday, November 21, and runs non-stop through Sunday, November 23. Donors can drive through to drop off contributions at one of the two sites. Volunteers will collect, inspect, sort, and categorize donations, as well as assist with traffic control, monitor donation storage and weights, and bring energy to the event by engaging with and thanking donors as they drive by. After a brief on-site orientation and training, you’ll be assigned a role to ensure every area is well-supported for a successful event. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old to participate. Please dress appropriately for this outdoor event, including wearing closed-toe shoes.
