We Give Children Something to Smile About
Every three minutes a child is born with a cleft lip or cleft palate. Since 1982, Operation Smile has provided hundreds of thousands of free surgeries for children from more than 60 countries. We visited the headquarters right here in Virginia Beach and filled Smile Bags, small gifts of hygiene products and fun toys for children to have after surgery.
Operation Smile provides Smile Bags to each child who receives surgery for a cleft lip or cleft palate.
